    Specific Functions/Activities Summary

    The Usher/Ticket taker will:

    • Greet and escort patrons to seats in an efficient and professional manner. 
    • Checks, tears or scans patrons’ tickets
    • Welcomes guests to the event, and provides guest service and answers questions as requested  
    • Ensures that the rules and regulations of the Arena are being adhered to

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate:

    • Must be a member of Local 176 and will possess hospitality and/or customer service experience. 
    • Will be outgoing and personable with the ability to solve guest issues in a timely manner. 
    • Must be comfortable operating an elevator
    • Must be comfortable with heights
    • Must be willing to rotate to various positions within a shift
    • Must be comfortable working with wheelchairs and disabled guests
    • This position works nights, weekends and holidays

    Education

    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
