    Role Summary

    The People Acquisition Researcher is part of the internal MSG Sourcing Team. This person will play a critical role in executing candidate identification and screening strategies for senior level searches. The ideal candidate will be passionate and well-versed in utilizing creative internet research tools. This person will work closely with the Sourcing Manager to efficiently target and source talent for critical staffing needs across a broad range of positions.

    Specific Functions/Activities Summary

    • Partner with Sourcing Managers and Executive Recruiters to proactively build talent pipelines.
    • Conduct research to identify candidates through internet searches, name generation, social networking, job boards and the ATS.
    • Responsible for research process to map target companies and identify talent for critical positions.
    • Conduct outreach efforts and pre-screens with targeted talent.
    • Collaborate with the Sourcing Managers to create efficient enterprise wide sourcing strategies.
    • Maintain sourcing databases to ensure all candidate data is captured and tracked.
    • Maintain monthly and annual sourcing metrics.
    • Responsible for updating weekly Executive Search Reports.
    • Participate in People Acquisition special projects/initiatives as needed.
    • Be committed to executing process and communications, ensuring adherence to established Company standards.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant degree

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in executive recruitment or sourcing role. 

    Strong sourcing capabilities in the areas of internet search, name generation, social networking and passive candidate engagement.

    Prior experience developing intelligence such as competitor maps, talent market landscapes and pipeline analytics preferred.

    Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, changing work environment while performing multiple tasks.

    Strong computer knowledge with proficiency in MS Office with Excel and PowerPoint required.

    Education

    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
