    Role Summary

    The Manager, People Practices Insights & Analytics will be responsible for the evaluation and development of Human Resources (People Practices) data reporting to provide insights and analytics pertaining to the people and organization. This position will be responsible for supporting People Practices leadership by developing a framework and cadence for sharing data with business stakeholders to proactively inform business decisions and strategy. This role's primary focus will be to provide support to the People Practices function in the areas of people metrics and advanced and predictive analytics.

    Specific Functions/Activities Summary

    • Develops a framework and practice for defining and developing people and Human Resources metrics and analytics based on industry trends and best practices.
    • Leverages data and predictive modeling, trend, regression, and gap analyses, and associated methodologies to present actionable data-based insights and information to stakeholders in order to inform strategic decision-making by the People Practices function and help influence operational, process, and program changes.
    • Analyzes organizational data to identify potential, existing, or future business needs and provides data-based recommendations to influence People Practices
    • Communicates findings to department and business leaders via formal presentations and provides standard reporting on a periodic, quarterly, and/or annual basis.
    • Collaborates closely and in alignment with Human Capital Management (HCM) system practitioners to gather and maintain data, define and develop reporting requirements, and merge data from multiple sources.
    • Collaborates on the development and maintenance of dashboard(s) to provide human capital analytics to business leaders that leverage data to clarify employee-focused metrics for the company and their respective business units. Provides recommendations to People Practices leaders as to the frequency of reporting.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related discipline coupled with 4+ years of progressive experience in data analysis and
    • 3+ years of experience with HRIS applications,
    • Expert Microsoft Access and Excel skills, including proficiency with complex pivot tables and data analysis Proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint.
    • Demonstrated expertise with report writing software (g., Tableau and/or PowerBI), preferred.
    • Ability to translate complex data analysis and research principles into terms that can be understood by a broader
    • Skilled at manipulating and managing large, complex databases, spreadsheets and queries and generating organizational metrics to assist with business


    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
