Responsibilities

The Bus Person is responsible for:

  • Setting tables, clearing tables, and restocking plates
  • Assisting wait staff, bartenders and the cooking staff as needed
  • Making sure diners' water glasses are full, and reset tables for the next service
  • Bringing food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs
  • Attentive to guest’s needs and maintains a neat appearance
  • Bussers ensures waitstaff can focus on the diners and make sure that food comes out in a speedy manner

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Good communication skills
  • Acommitment to high-quality customer service and be able to handle the high-pressure environment
  • Prior experience as a busser required
  • Must have a a friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service to ensure repeat customers
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
  • Must be a team player 
  • This position works nights, weekends and holidays.
