Work closely & provide daily guidance to the Marketing Partnerships group as it relates to financial planning & reporting.  Position oversees and administers Marketing Partnerships revenue recognition process, which also includes contract/deal memo tracking, comparison to rate card, revenue posting to general ledger and monthly actual vs. budget comparison (which includes deal fulfillment costs) as it relates to MSG Sports & Signage.   In addition, will be heavily involved in reviewing deal P&L’s which include all revenue and expense values & estimates as well as summary analysis used by senior management for their approval. 

Responsible for preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts & Outlooks for MSG Marketing Partnerships (revenue & expense) with a focus on MSG Sports & Signage. 

Assist with completion of all NBA, NHL and WNBA reporting packages and surveys as it relates to Marketing Partnerships/Sponsorships. 


  • Advise MSG Marketing Partnership SVP’s and Sales Managers on all financial aspects of sponsorship deals, including reporting, billing structure, rate card compliance and adherence to all process flows/corporate policies.
  • Manage revenue recognition/contract tracking/fulfillment costs of all marketing partnership agreements with a focus on MSG Sports & Signage.
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts for MSG Marketing Partnerships (revenues and expenses) with a focus on MSG Sports & Signage.
  • Assist in compiling and distributing all weekly sales reporting matters to senior executives.
  • Assist in preparation of all schedules for Corporate Finance to assist in quarterly reviews, year-end audits and financial statement disclosures relative to Marketing Partnerships.




  • Ability to communicate with senior executives.
  • Ability to establish effective interdepartmental relations.
  • Understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
  • Minimum 5 years accounting/finance analysis experience (public and/or private).
  • Understanding of sponsorship/advertising sales business.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and possess working knowledge of accounting systems and other automated environments.
  • Very strong analytical skills.


Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
