Responsibilities

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily work activity of the Media Sales Directors and the Media Sales Support Manager while overseeing sponsorships on MSG Networks.

 

  • Will work in conjunction with Media Sales Directors and the Media Sale Support Manager on all aspects of servicing MSG Networks media sponsorships, including inventory in broadcasts of NY Rangers, NY Knicks, NY Islanders, NJ Devils, NY Liberty, NY Red Bulls, and MSG Original Programming
  • Daily account management of designated accounts
  • Liaison between internal departments such as Media Ad Sales, Traffic, Finance, Production, Pricing and Planning, Network Marketing, Business Solutions and Digital to insure all media buys are fully executed for the purchased term
  • Process and input contracted proposals and orders in WideOrbit systems
  • Pull weekly reports for Pricing and Planning and agency/clients for account’s proof of performance
  • Assist Media Sales Directors with the preparation of proposals/spec sheets to send to agencies/clients
  • Communicate with agency/clients and necessary internal departments for contract revisions, invoice discrepancies, and billing adjustments
  • Support Pricing & Planning in managing inventory

Qualifications

  • BS/BA college degree
  • Previous television/network/broadcast/media company/agency experience preferred
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Strong project management with ability to keep projects on schedule
  • Highly organized with ability to meet multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to establish effective interdepartmental relations
  • Ability to establish relationships with business partners including, sponsors, vendors and media partners
  • Desire to grow into a sales role
  • Team player to participate and support needs of entire team
  • Knowledge of WideOrbit a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
