This postion is a part of the Counter Logic Gaming Organization (CLG ESPORTS LLC). Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) is a premier North American esports organization known for its passionate fan base and winning culture. Founded originally in 2010 as a League of Legends team by George Georgallidis, it’s now one of the largest esports organizations in the world. This role will be located in Los Angeles, CA.

The Director, Sales is primarily responsible for supporting and selling sponsorships, fulfillment, and relationship management for Counter Logic Gaming (CLG). This person will assist in critical business development tasks, such as prospecting and identifying potential team partners, building and preparing presentation decks, maintaining tracking of inventory, and managing the contracting process. The role will work across departments and entities to gain approvals for activations, produce and install signage and promotional materials, and produce season recaps. The Director, Sales will also oversee the Sponsorship Fulfillment Budget in conjunction with the Director of Finance and Manager of Business Solutions, which includes the payment of vendor invoices. Throughout the year, he/she will work with the Marketing, PR, and Event Presentation teams to maximize value and impressions for partners. This person will work closely with Marketing/Social/Digital teams to ensure that all design-related tasks are well thought out and timely completed. This person will be fully empowered to sell sponsorships and hospitality and is expected to be engaged in sales activity when sales support tasks are completed.


  • Generate partnership sales of CLG through active outbound sales process.
  • Assist in account management, take ownership of sponsorship fulfillment and manage various internal relationships – including/ but not limited to: Creative Services, Marketing, Digital, Social Media, Public Relations, and Game Operations.
  • Support business development efforts and deal making process, which includes building all proposals and presentation decks in conjunction with Business Solutions.
  • Lead partner/prospect entertainment and relationship management.
  • Manage day-to-day expense budget for sales.



  • Bachelor Degree
  • 3-5 years’ sales experience in E Sports or related industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the marketing and advertising industries with a particular focus on E Sports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales/closing skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally



Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
