Responsibilities

As a Coordinator Websites at MSG, you will be responsible for supporting the web and mobile vision for MSG’s newest digital ecosystem. You will work closely with Ticket Sales and Marketing to ensure deep understanding of and drive priorities for all web site needs, user needs, and company objectives. You will help update the web site based on those priorities. The ideal candidate must be able to problem solve in a highly collaborative culture and must have experience and be comfortable using a content management system (preferably Wordpress).

 

  • Manage day-to-day digital activities of MSG.com as it relates to updating content on the site and serving Ticket Sales in their need to sell inventory (individual tickets, ticket packages, etc.) online and/or Marketing Partnerships in their need to sell inventory online.
  • Write engaging, SEO-friendly headlines for the main section pages.
  • Establish and maintain strong SEO practices for the site including creation of titles, tags, and descriptions, writing engaging SEO-friendly headlines for the main section pages, and other best practices related to search visibility
  • Edit and write content in coordination with Content Production teams
  • Use a mix of editorial judgment and metrics to determine the placement of stories and other content on the homepage and other content pages across MSG.com
  • Support branding guidelines on the web site
  • Support new marketing partnerships needs to create more digital revenue opportunities
  • Support ongoing and last minute requests to drive ticket sales.
  • Assess, catalogue and organize website content and ensure content is up to date
  • Coordinate workflow for departments feeding content to web
  • Act as liaison with UI, UX, marketing, content and analytic teams

 

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of web site, CMS experience
  • Proactive and accountability-driven attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and in person.
  • Thorough understanding of web and wireless usability and user behaviors
  • Working knowledge of web publishing technologies (HTML, photo optimization, browser compatibility, etc.)
  • Experience communicating with cross functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university preferred 

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
