The Senior Network Engineer will use their networking experience and expertise to maintain best practice with regards to network architecture, process and implementation associated to the company’s corporate office and associated facilities IP networks.

In this role the Senior Network Engineer will collaborate with the team to evaluate, design and maintain the highly technical and complex aspects of existing and future wired and wireless network systems, as well as providing operational support.

This position requires a broad range of skills within the networking discipline to effectively perform multifaceted assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. 

The position interacts with corresponding employees, peers including vendors in coordinating recommendations on initiatives and projects focused towards maintaining the company's network performance, availability, and security. 



  • Interface with System Operations and Engineering team on projects.
  • Responsible for aspects of the network, Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and Wired LAN; design, project planning, implementation/integration and technical leadership for the Network Engineering team.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and selection of network wired, wireless and network security systems/technologies based on multiple sets of standards and requirements.
  • Coordinates operational optimization of WAN, LAN and WLAN network systems.
  • Supports advanced network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose complex wired and wireless network problems: Leverages appropriate diagnostic tools for in field analysis and troubleshooting. Provides technical assistance to internal departments and organizations to deliver business critical projects and maintain high levels of service.
  • Participates in special project assignments and provides informal updates, reports and data analysis as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with internal team and external contacts in order to ensure deliverables are produced within the timeframe.
  • Ability to prepare and develop presentations in preparation for meetings.
  • Works closely with direct management to keep team well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships



  • Minimum 5 years in networking, with a strong hands-on of wired, wireless and RF experience, preferably in large diverse networking environments.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant networking architecture and design experience with a company(s) supporting 100+ node networks, preferably in the Media, Sports and Entertainment industry.
  • Requires core competency in data (switching and routing) and with advanced skills the wireless sector of networking
  • A passion for the latest wired and wireless networking architectures and technologies (cloud computing, AR/VR,5G, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects and work with team members to deliver successful and timely results.
  • Experience working in Microsoft technology environment
  • Experience working with cloud service providers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry recognized certifications (i.e. CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or CCIE)
  • Flexible working hours, moderate travel with little or no notice, may participate in an on-call rotation (includes evening, weekends, and occasional holidays)
  • Passion for solving complex and interesting problems. Experience in working backwards from the customer requirements and delivering innovative, simple solutions



Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
