Responsibilities

  • Provide interface during critical and non-critical emergency situations from report to resolution inclusive of constant updates, and resolutions.
  • Access control which includes the utilization of closed circuit television monitors of exterior doors, building perimeters, and sensitive building areas.
  • Life safety and emergency response which includes guiding and assisting guests, vendors and employees during an emergency and non-emergency situation.
  • Retrieves video footage during Security/Human Resources investigations.
  • Maintains daily log books and completes reports as directed.
  • Answers emergency and non-emergency phone lines.
  • Requires daily professional interaction with all levels of customers, employees, first responders, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Utilizes multiple systems within the command center/fire command.
  • Monitors various alarms, CCTV, Access control, Visitor management etc.
  • Participate in business continuity/crisis management escalations and communications.
  • Assist with departmental administrative requirements.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of administration and/or coordinator experience in facility, security or event management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to work professionally as a team player in a fast paced deadline orientated environment. Prior Arena/Security or similar experience and experience in CBA work rules and scheduling procedures preferred.  Must be willing to work with union staff, outside contractors, and multi task in an extremely critical environment. Must be available to work am, pm, weekends and holidays. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of administration and/or coordinator experience  
  • Proven organizational skills in a fast-paced office environment  
  • Knowledge in the area of CCTV operation preferred.  
  • Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks while under tight deadlines and financial constraints. 
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills. 
  • Must be highly responsive to emergencies in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. 
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary 
  • Must have the ability to work independently when necessary, and use sound business judgment. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Demonstrate integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring the upmost consistency. 
  • Experience in logistics in the live entertainment or sports environment or similar industry. 
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks. 
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office. 
  • Experience in metrics and/or data reporting. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, weekends and holidays.  

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Bending, Lifting, Sitting, General office duties inclusive of typing and looking at screen/tvs  for long periods 

 

 

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
