Responsibilities

The People Acquisition Manager will manage full life cycle recruiting for broad range of positions from seasonal/entry level to director/VP level positions for dedicated client group(s).  This position will recruit and hire staff as directed, including working with hiring managers in the requisition intake process, scoping positions, working with compensation department on position pricing, securing approvals, creating and executing posting and direct sourcing strategies, assessing and interviewing candidates, and guiding and coaching hiring managers through the process of attracting and on boarding best-fit employee talent. This position will partner with business management and HRBPs to provide consultative support in all facets of talent acquisition (sourcing, identifying, attracting, hiring, and on boarding) to secure high-quality diverse talent into the organization. 

  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of requisitions for dedicated client group(s)
  • Develop, manage and execute recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and recruit best talent that align with and meet key business priorities and firm-wide talent strategy
  • Provide appropriate coaching and guidance on the interviewing and selection process to all hiring managers
  • Collaborate with business and People Practices partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Educate business partners regarding critical steps in the talent acquisition process
  • Conduct in-depth screens and assesses potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, compensation and convert hard to find passive talent through your understanding of the business and employee value proposition
  • Create pipeline of high-quality candidates, and foster long-term relationships with them for future positions
  • Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates; sourcing tools include but not limited to:LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and industry-oriented sites & blogs
  • Meet established hiring targets and recruiting organization goals while minimizing time-to-fill and cost-per-hire metrics
  • Recommend recruitment strategies and best practices based on expertise, knowledge and/or experience
  • Actively manage client and candidate experience and expectations throughout the recruitment process
  • Lead offer preparation and negotiations with candidates
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market for talent
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to create efficient and scalable full life-cycle recruitment processes, best practices, and enterprise wide sourcing integration
  • Participate in people acquisition related events (i.e. job/career fairs)
  • Additional People Practices projects/initiatives as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be one that can think strategically and creatively to help us identify the best talent.   S/he will have proven full cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment with proven ability to handle and manage high volume recruiting and communicate effectively with high level stakeholders.  We are not looking for a Recruiter with a traditional mindset, but one that can think outside the box and can leverage candidate development tools to expedite critical searches.  The ideal candidate must have a strong client service bias and a positive, can-do attitude, ensuring that all client needs are met, and the ability to influence various levels of management within his/her respective client group(s).   S/he is one that holds the candidate and hiring manager experience in high regard, and can demonstrate agility and patience through difficult situations.   S/he must be organized and have strong planning abilities.  The ideal candidate is responsive and focused on the quality of hire while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet all client needs.

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
