    Responsibilities

    Development of fan-focused brand strategies, brand execution and fan engagement for live events with a focus on Rockettes Productions, family shows, venue strategy (including tours, guest experience, trade) and the MSG Brand (including Garden of Dreams and marquee events). This individual will coordinate across all marketing functions and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of marketing efforts to achieve business goals. 

    • Coordinate across all marketing functions (e.g., media, creative, insights, digital, social) with internal stakeholders and external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of marketing efforts for Rockettes Productions and family shows.
    • Development and ongoing execution and optimization of Rockettes Productions and family shows' marketing strategy, and new MSG Family Series partnerships platform. Includes working closely with Bookings, Insights, and Marketing Partnerships teams.
    • Work directly with the insights / analytics / database teams to analyze current fan/customer and venues data, competitive activity, sales volume, market trends to build a solid understanding of our fan communities and customers in support of development of marketing strategies.
    • In coordination with the Loyalty Communications team, implement strategy and execution increasing fan engagement (i.e. direct marketing efforts) for venue tours (MSG, Radio City), Family shows and Performing Arts, at Madison Square Garden, The Hulu Theater at MSG, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre, and manage communications with the Chicago Theatre marketing team.
    • Support and assist with marketing strategy and execution of MSG’s existing venue brands and expansion efforts (i.e. new venues).

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Bachelor degree
    • Minimum 5-7 years experience in marketing or advertising with a strong background and interest in live entertainment, theater, venue attractions and current pop culture.
    • Experience in creative development from writing a brief, legal review, approvals process, production and traffic.
    • Competency with analytics and interpretation of ticket sales, demographic, database, research and competitive data, to assess and improve current marketing strategies.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, project management and time management skills required.
    • Must have strong knowledge of NY marketplace.

     

    Preferred:

    • Understanding of process and relationship management within the entertainment industry including producers, management agencies, tour promoters, etc.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    Education

    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
