The Digital Content Producer role is a key pillar of an interdisciplinary approach to producing content. A veteran of digital content production, the Producer will provide subject matter expertise into project estimation (cost, time, resource needs, etc.), scoping of production content, and lastly the oversight of all production activities. In addition to the logistical aspects of production, the Producer will collaborate with the Creative team lead to ensure content quality. The Producer will be able to engage creatively to achieve the business goals within various project constraints. This role reports into the Director of Production.
The Producer will manage relationships with both internal and external production teams and entities. The Producer will improve these relationships and logistics by streamlining onboarding, understanding the capacity and talents of each group, and thus determining which resources to use for any given project.
As an excellent communicator and motivator, this role will embody a sense of co-ownership and accountability for productions involving Marketing Partnerships, while also driving the process. Responsibly managing multiple project priorities is essential as he/she will advise the group on best practices, scope, pricing.
First and foremost, the Content Producer is advising on the feasibility of creative concepts, ensuring resources are available, and/or are identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions ahead of time. He/she manages the arc of a production lifecycle responsibly, with understandable and repeatable methodologies, and ensures proper reviews and approvals at appropriate stages.
