The Manager Club Bar & Grill provides leadership and management for the operational and financial effectiveness of the premium food and beverage product. This position reports the Director Restaurants & Catering.



  • Cross trains in all restaurant and catering areas
  • Hires, trains, schedules and supervises all front of the house staff
  • Ensures consistency of all food and beverage products presented in the Club, Bar & Grill
  • Follows-up on all guest comments and concerns
  • Ensures completion of all guest side work
  • Maintains par levels of all necessary working equipment
  • Evaluates performance of all food and beverage staff within these locations
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increases sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepares reports at the end of shift/week including staff control, beverage control and sales.
  • Estimate beverage needs and costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
  • Establish relationship with clients/customers in order to provide personalized restaurant and catering services and needs.
  • Provides expert advice to the clients regarding the menu choices and wine/drink selection.
  • Responses and resolve client/customer complaints and issues regarding food and/or service. Take the appropriate action to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.
  • Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are adhered to.
  • Arrange for the maintenance and repair of equipment and other club services.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Completes any accident reports promptly in the event a customer or employee is injured.

  •  Staffing, training, operational decisions



  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior management experience in a fine dining, high volume establishment preferably in a Hotel & Restaurant environment.
  • Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred. Educational requirements may differ from job to job based on the role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and the ability to manage a non-union and unionized workforce.
  • Prior knowledge of (DOH) Department of Health standards and regulations
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational and time management skills required
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
  • PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary
  • Experience in managing cross functional teams and building relationships
  • Successful track record of measuring improvements in customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring the upmost consistency
  • Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment
  • Adept at maintaining a positive, open, approachable, and professional relationship with a diverse group

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
