    Responsibilities

    • Developing insightful solutions to business problems based on business and consumer data.
    • Devising strategies and recommendations for media plans across traditional, digital, and owned asset channels.
    • Conferring with brands and external agency partners to establish media goals, objectives, and strategies for media campaigns.
    • Creating, managing, and executing offline and online media campaigns in-house, including TV, radio, out-of-home, print, display, search, and social.
    • Managing audience sizing and segmentation as well as the creation, execution, testing, reporting, analysis, and optimization of in-house paid social campaigns (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn).
    • Managing external agency partners and the day-to-day agency deliverables.
    • Managing owned media assets, including maintenance and distribution of schedules, creative trafficking, tracking, and reporting of campaign delivery and performance.
    • Supporting media planning, negotiation, and buying activities pushing for the best rates, placement, and added value.
    • Researching historical elements of media plans and analyzing data for recommendations.
    • Calculating and reporting on media metrics for media planning, buying, and evaluation.
    • Supporting creation and presentation of media plans to brands for approval based on up-to-date knowledge of market and consumer information.
    • Supporting creation and approval of media agreements and contracts with agencies and media vendors, and insertion orders for media placement.
    • Liaising with key internal stakeholders and external agency partners to ensure smooth work flow and timely delivery of media materials.
    • Participating in weekly status and analytics meetings with brands and agencies.
    • Creating and maintaining media specific documents, such as flowcharts and budgets.
    • Researching and maintaining record of trends, innovations, and changes that affect media buying.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 4-6 years experience in media planning
    • Experienced in both traditional and digital marketing strategy, media planning, buying, and performance analysis.
    • Experienced in paid social platform and campaign management (i.e. Facebook Business Manager)
    • Strong project and relationship management skills.
    • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects concurrently.
    • Ability to work independently on projects.
    • Self-starter that demonstrates initiative.
    • Experience analyzing data or market research.
    • Manages timelines; deals effectively with pressure.
    • Embraces teamwork; shares ideas / methods to improve performance.
    • Computer skills required: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    Education

    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
