    Development of fan-focused brand strategies, brand execution and fan engagement for Live events with a focus on family shows, venue tours and support for Live concert and comedy events at The Chicago Theatre. This individual will coordinate efforts across all marketing and digital content functions and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of marketing efforts to achieve business goals. 


    • Coordinate efforts across all marketing functions (e.g., media, creative, insights, PR) with internal stakeholders and external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of Family Show marketing strategy.
    • Support and assist Director of Marketing with marketing strategy and execution of marketing functions (e.g., media, creative, insights, PR) for concert and comedy events at The Chicago Theatre.
    • Own the digital content/editorial calendar for The Chicago Theatre channels and webpages. Collaborate with digital content team in NY on creation and prioritization of shared artists/events.
    • Lead content creation and publishing for Chicago-only events including performance analysis and recommendations.
    • Manage promotional relationships of the Theatre such as media partners, lifestyle organizations, restaurants and hotels. Manage ticket trade fulfillment for events.
    • Maintain and track all budgets weekly/monthly.
    • Create, maintain and manage all Theatre marketing assets such as the marquee, venue signage, pre-event announcements and execute all sponsorship requirements related to signage and onsite presence.
    • Work with web team in NY to populate and prioritize content for Chicago events/pages.
    • Work with creative services to coordinate coming events advertising materials and show creative when necessary: TV, Radio, Print, Online, Social Media, Direct Mailings & collateral.
    • Oversee media coverage onsite– provide access in proper location; work with talent management; promoter and facilities
    • Manage and execute marketing campaign for the venue tour.
    • Execution of sponsor agreements (onsite signage).


    • Bachelor degree
    • Minimum 4-7 years experience in marketing or advertising with a strong background and interest in live entertainment, theater, venue attractions and current pop culture.
    • Experience in creative development from writing a brief, legal review, approvals process, production and traffic.
    • Competency with analytics and interpretation of ticket sales, demographic, database, research and competitive data, to assess and improve current marketing strategies.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, project management and time management skills required.
    • Must have strong knowledge of Chicago marketplace.



    • Family entertainment marketing experience.
    • Understanding of process and relationship management within the entertainment industry including producers, management agencies, tour promoters, etc.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.


    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
