    Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) is a premier North American esports organization known for its passionate fan base and winning culture. Founded originally in 2010 as a League of Legends team by George Georgallidis, it’s now one of the largest esports organizations in the world. CLG fields teams in many leading esports titles: League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Super Smash Bros., H1Z1, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, and SMITE. It is also known for its past success with teams in DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Halo, and Call of Duty. CLG has won multiple championships throughout its history: the LCS Summer 2015 Championship at Madison Square Garden; the LCS Spring 2016 Championship at Mandalay Bay; and the Halo 2016 World Championship in Hollywood.

    Responsibilities

    CLG, North America’s premier esports organization is looking for a Senior Content Producer to create compelling content for our YouTube and CLG-owned social channels. In this role, you will be responsible for creative and production of regular video programming targeted to CLG and esports fans. You will collaborate with our content team, agencies, vendors, sponsors, partners, and others to deliver distinctive, engaging, premium content on time and on budget. Ideally this candidate has experience with a creator or production that specializes in short-form digital content. We are hiring for this position in Los Angeles.

    • Develop, pitch and oversee production of premium short-form, humorous, educational and editorial video programs incorporating players, influencers and other esports cultural personalities
    • Simultaneously manage multiple content projects, with quick turnaround time
    • Lead the discovery process on large engagements and scope projects, defining project requirements and success metrics
    • Oversee multiple producers and interdisciplinary project teams
    • Lead and inspire teams by communicating a vision for the project
    • Vet and collaborate with production companies, directors, and other vendors, and developing a go-to network of videographers, editors and other crew
    • Work with our partnerships team to develop on-brand content to fulfill sponsorship deliverables

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years working in digital video, commercial or broadcast production, or at a creative agency. Must have examples of work
    • In-depth understanding on how to create short-form content based on trends in the esports, gaming and lifestyle culture spaces
    • Experience with managing long-form story or docuseries projects a plus
    • Demonstrated experience with production scheduling, accounting, and resource management
    • A deep understanding of the traditions and cultures among esports players and fans
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Brings clear, distinctive creative vision to each production
    • Can-do approach and ability to perform under pressure
    • Able to travel at all times of the year, nationally and internationally as required
    • Currently based in Los Angeles or able to relocate to Los Angeles with ease
    • Authorized to work in the U.S

     

    Bonus Points:

    • Worked with content creators who specialize in short-form (think BuzzFeed, Complex, Bleacher Report, Genius)
    • Worked at a production company or studio that produces esports content
    • Hands-on experience working as an editor or videographer

    Education

    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
