    Specific Functions/Activities Summary


    • Lead all aspects of the Las Vegas project and team from inception to close out.
    • Build and foster relationships with client representatives, architects, engineers, and sub-contractors to establish project requirements, budget, specifications and schedules.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with value-added results.
    • Creating, maintaining and distributing project documentation, meeting minutes and deliverables on a timely basis.
    • Issue, scope and risk assessment and management
    • Effective and frequent communication to project sponsors, resources and management around project status, budget, scope and timeline
    • Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in overall project management approach
    • Use influence and insights to help the business achieve its goals and to make appropriate use of Technology resources
    • Work with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
    • Utilize value engineering and sustainable design concepts to improve results for our clients.
    • Negotiate and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
    • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
    • Ensure that all protocols are implemented to create a safe project environment.


    • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10-15 years’ experience
    • Minimum 10 years of direct project management experience in ground-up construction
    • Demonstrated expertise in planning, budgeting and project management.
    • Ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
    • Seasoned professional able to work calmly under pressure and/or challenging conditions
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with construction and financial computer applications.
    • Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles
    • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to individually negotiate change orders with clients and/or subcontractors.
    • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
    • A positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional results for our clients.


    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
