    Specific Functions/Activities Summary

    Qualifications:
    •    Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times

    • Flexible work schedule availability (event-based schedule)
    • Ability to prioritize and handle competing priorities
    • Responsible for maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in all MSG suite areas
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
    • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds up and down stairs/ramps
    • Excellent guest relations skills, service recovery and relationship building, VIP services
    • Uses all appropriate performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
    • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
    • Communicates important information through formal meetings as well as pre-shift meetings and email updates to groups or the entire Suites team
    • Interviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Madison Square Garden guidelines
    • Displays a positive attitude towards team members and guests
    • Mentors Suites Supervisors to develop their skills and leadership abilities
    • Excellent attention to detail, including order accuracy, F&B product quality and correct staffing by location
    • Ensures team members have the tools and resources necessary to complete their jobs
    • Respond to and resolve any operational or guest service issues that Supervisors aren’t able to resolve independently
    • Ensures execution of all menus, promotions and programs including Partnerships activations and guest special requests
    • Ensures compliance with Union CBA (staffing, scheduling, and work practices)
    • Ensures proper execution of preventive maintenance and repair work in the Suites areas
    • Ensures that daily DOH checklists are completed both pre and post event and any violations are repaired/corrected/addressed immediately
    • Communicate with Corporate Hospitality to maintain a seamless flow of information and execute according to client expectations

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Prior stadium/arena experience preferred
    • Excellent verbal communication, organizational and time management skills required
    • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
    • Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary
    • Demonstrates integrity, tact, respect, and kindness with a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring the utmost consistency
    • Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment
    • Adept at maintaining a positive, open, approachable, and professional relationship with a diverse group
    • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required

     

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Extensive walking, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and cleaning duties

     

    Education

    Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
