Assist the Beacon Food & Merchandise Managers with food and merchandise operations to ensure a positive guest experience. Will coach and counsel employees, making sure they adhere to operational guidelines and company policies. Will supervise food & merchandise front of the house staff, communicating pertinent event information, set up/break down of selling areas and monitoring physical inventory. Will supervise sales transactions, monitor cashing out of registers, reconcile cash receivables and compile revenue reports for management and finance department. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Candidate must have proven experience in a supervisory capacity in a food or retail environment. Must have proven history of above average work performance, with proven leadership abilities. Strong cash handling skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and proven guest service skills are required. Candidate must be flexible in their scheduling, able to work at least 3 days/nights a week including weekends and holidays. The ability to handle multiple tasks, lead large groups of employees and display excellent internal and external customer service ability.
